Who’s That Guy?

I’m Cory, a 44 year old Virtual Realty Consultant (Sr. Web Designer / Developer) and Freelance Writer since 1997 in Toledo, Ohio. I consider myself one of the richest people in the world.

No, I’m not wealthy, yet. However I do have a beautiful wife, four cats, a loving family, awesome friends, and a passive business that allows me to spend most of my time helping others.

A Little Background

Inspired by my Maternal Grandfather, an Engineer for Champion, and my Father, an Autocad Draftsman, I began college in 1992 as an Engineering major  At the time, things looked bright and I was where, and who, I should be.

Fast forward to 1997. After several of life’s lessons dealing me setbacks in my academic career, being tapped for tuition money, and seeing how successful and happy both of my Uncle’s were, one an Entrepreneur and the other a Human Resource Manager, I began to eat, sleep, and breathe both Marketing and Management. I began to design and develop static Web sites, still in their infancy, and writing everything from extra credit reports to research papers – I know, a regular Michael Carrington right?

Then, in 2002, after meeting my own cute and quirky Pink Lady, I landed an 8 to 5 job, that I really enjoyed. I was working as a Librarian in a local Engineering firm and glad to have a steady income. I had no plans to leave but Toledo was one of the cities hit hardest by our fallen economy and I was downsized.

Fortunately, by this time, I was already making a little money freelancing and Heather landed a steady job by 2007. With a second leg to offer more stability, I continued to look for steady work but was able to better control my fear and financial desperation. When this new found confidence began to show through to our current clients, they began to refer more business and I was able to take advantage of more profitable business opportunities.

Why a Digital Frontier to Reshape the Human Condition?

In our new global economy, digital is the easiest and fastest way to communicate. I have spend many years learning from the first crash test dummy of online business and wish to continue the tradition. This way, I can share what works with you in real time to help you achieve your goals.

The first step is to define your end goal and to plan backward. For Heather and I, the goal is to help as many people as possible become more visible, credible and profitable. Where do you want to be by 2017? Great! I want to help you get there.

To make that happen, who do you need to be, to do what you need to do, to have what you want to have by 2017?

To do that, what do you need to do within the next 6 months? The next 3 months? The next month? The next Week? Tomorrow? Well then, plan tomorrow today and let me know how I can help.
